AfCFTA states that women-owned SMEs play a significant role in Africa’s economic development. Most of these SMEs are macro businesses still in the informal sector. In addition to the AfCFTA and its benefits, there is a need for training and sharing information.
One of the pillars of Africa Women in Trade is to share information and partner with training organisations like SHETrade, which will also share what they offer and how AWT members can take advantage of FREE training.
AfCFTA experts will also update SMEs on what changes are now available to them. Moreover, when trading, traceability plays a critical role. AWT is partnering with SEED TRACE, and they will share with us how you can take advantage of their services.
